Our Mission is to bring glory to God through the redemption of souls and by bringing good to His children.
OUR VISION
"The Lord is my rock and my fortress
and my deliverer,
My God, my rock, in whom I take refuge;
My shield and the horn of my salvation,
my stronghold."
Psalm 18:2
It is our desire that the Lord will use us to be conduits of His grace, mercy and forgiveness and that His Holy Spirit will bring saving faith to many, for the glory of His Holy name. We know that apart from Christ we are nothing and we have no life.
Live Love establishes and cares for physical, emotional and mental needs, but most importantly the spiritual need for Jesus Christ. He is our Living Water and Bread of Life and we love as He has loved us, no matter the cost.
We Work Whole-Heartedly for Jesus
- Colossians 3:23-24
Our work is an offering to God and an opportunity
to bless others.
We Look to Jesus
- John 3:16, John 1:1
We set our minds on who Jesus is and what He’s
done for us
We Always Start With Prayer
- Jeremiah 33:3
Our first impulse and main strategy is to depend
on God, not us.
We Honor Others Above Ourselves
- Romans 12:10
As we humbly lead others, we prioritize holiness, humility, health and our households.
We Are Faith-Filled, Big-Thinking Risk Takers
- 2 Timothy 1:7, John 10:27-28
We attempt impossible and innovative things for God’s glory.
We Have a Heartbeat of Generosity
- 2 Corinthians 9:7
We give like God is with us and eternity is before us.
We Expect Difficulty But Will Overcome
- John 16:33, 2 Corinthians 12:9
No matter what happens in life, we know who God is.
We Walk By the Spirit
- Galatians 5:16
We ask God to fill us with His power and to make us aware of His presence.
We Give Like God is With Us and Eternity is Before Us
- Colossians 3:23-24
We work whole-heartedly for Jesus.
OUR VALUES
OUR BEGINNING
The Foundation is a faith based outreach and was founded by Rachel Gorken and her husband Gary Gorken. The couple, who have been married for nearly 22 years, moved to Coronado in June of 2012. They have a son Grant and a daughter Olivia.
The foundation began in 2015 when their daughter Olivia wanted to give some dolls to Rady Children’s Hospital. She went around the community and fundraised for that. She was the inspiration and reason why the foundation is what it is. That spirit of generous giving and outreach is how the Live Love Foundation of Salvation was formed.”
